Does anyone know the costs of fitting the above? I'm guessing quite expensive as its a gear box out job. I presume the quaife is more suited to road use?

I would think approx £400 to take the box off and another £100 to split the box in half & install the diff and shims. The diff really changes the way the car drives whenever you turn the steering wheel.

I know you are an enthusiastic owner Aimy but do you really need a Quaife?

If it's traction you are interested I'd say you'd be better looking at RL traction control for road use.

IMO put it towards a walshy day or driver training (going on your last thread). Knowing how to control the power and grip you've got, will be better. The quafe is really for them dedicated trackers. Who want to put the power down in a more controlled way.

You've got all the gear, you just don't use it for some reason. Anyway, didn't you buy the car with the diff in place? Remember you telling me its not really worth having.

All the gear and no idea, more like :(

Really do recommend a Quaife but it does make the drive really different. Great for TDs though.

It's all about monies Stu. I didn't possess the funds to have done TD's or the National this year. Priorities I guess.... As for the LSD, you won't be able to utilise it fully on the road... next year I'll give a more considered opinion.
