It is funny until the next genuine female wants to have look round a car and everyone thinks it is a joke. I have shown lots of people round my car but if I got time wasted it would be the last. This place is full of banter, but this is the first time I have seen banter wasting someones time, that is not on IMHO.

Hi Sittencat, I'm a bit late to this thread but as I've owned an MX5 in the past thought I'd add my 2p. Great car the MX5, real fun. I contrast the VX is real fun but also has performance and more excitement (and with that comes compromise). For the record, and I think this is important, it did not waste any of my time. I had to take my car to the said location (for that is where it lives) after picking it up from BoT that afternoon. I then usually have to wait 10 - 15 minutes for a train anyway and was heading into to for the City Drinks (which started at 6) so made sense to be there at 5:30. As it transpired I arrived at 5:35, had a cig while I was waiting for the train (annoyingly just missed one) for 15 minutes. I really wasn't put out at all in the slightest, although, it could easily have been that someone was. Don't worry Sophie. If you are indeed an actual female human being, who currently owns a Mk3 MX5 with the convertible hard top and is looking for a VX then don't let us put you off, they are fantastic cars and the owners club is fantastic
