Hi all ! I'm looking at purchasing some BBS wheels for my VX NA. I've come across some on eBay and they seem to be 215/35/18 all around. Now I'm aware that the fronts are 195 and rear 235( I think). Are BBS wheels going to affect the handling in a bad way as they are not the same size as my OEM wheels ? Any help is appreciated ! Thanks in advance. Matt

Are you sure you can get the right pcd to fit your car.....? I don't think it'll handle well on those sizes though to be fair and not sure the fronts would even fit without serious rubbage!! I run 215/45/17 and had to cut my sill to get them to fit.....

I'll find out !

Don't want to have to do any modification !

I've seen a vx turbo on google which had 18s fitted so I'm sure it can be done !

I nearly bought that stage 4 car. Glad I didn't. At the time it looked a good buy. Looks nice on the 18's IMO.

When I bought my 17" ATS DTC's the guy had a couple of VX's in his showroom with 18"s on and he said they were horrible. Said they were completely unsuitable. I didn't press him further.

Im running 18s with the help of hubcentric spacers to get the offsets VX friendly along with tyre sizes that are within 1.2 + 0.3% of the OE 17s rolling radius. 215/45 on an 8 inch wide rim up front and its miles away from catching anything, et 25. 235/40 on a 9 inch wide rear is close but fits fine on my car, et 35.

It tramlines a little more and the steering is a bit heavier when parking.

Post a link to the wheels your looking at Matt...
