http://www.cdkeynexu...er_name=simcity

Enter the coupon code - Digital - at checkout and it should knock another 5% off!

Really good site they are - the code will work for any purchase and they have some cracking prices. They will email you the key if the game is released or as soon as it is released and you just add it to your steam/origin/uplay etc accounts.

Think the Sim City codes will get sent out by next tues/weds.

Did anyone dip a toe into the water? And if so are you having major issues with the DRM and server issues?

Haven't played Sim City for years. Is it all server-based now with no standalone version?

PS. Server update:

It is kind of standalone in the way you still install it and the files are on your PC but it requires a live Internet connection to be able to fully interact with the game. The biggest difference is that there are 'regions' in this version which each contain a few plots to create a city. You can join up with a friend or you can create a region all to yourself.

Played a bit last night. Seems really good, graphics are superb. Just need to iron out the server issues?

I read it only needs to connect to the server to save. Still between that and the issues theyve been having its definitely enough to put me right off.

I think the game itself is very good. I don't like the fact you HAVE to be connected to play - I've been kicked out of my game a couple of times now, and it's failed to save entire cities on occasion :beat: I'm just getting to grips with building a Great Works thumbsup Word of caution - be very careful if you're using a reactor to power your city. I've had one go boom for no apparant reason (my sime were well enough educated). The fallout lasts for 100's of years so there's a massive space I can't use - even if you plant trees, they just die within a couple of game days. I must admit the thing that pisses me off the most are the ridiculous events (zombie attack, giant lizzard and UFO attack). The others I can accept, but when you've just spent a fortune on an oil HQ, only for it to be trampled by a fcuking lizard, it really gets your goat. Pity you can't get the army involved for a bit of shock and awe
