I googled it and found this - http://www.parkers.c...000/dimensions/ Be aware that you need a bit more space than a standard car to open the doors and get in/out, as getting over the sills is no simple feat.

Correct there. You will need extra room to allow to get in and out unless you get out and push the car in the garage.

As above, try not to get the brick pier along the sides just where the door opens, or you will end up with even less room, as already said push the car in and it is not a real problem. From experiance a single garage will just fit the car and a bike, but the bike has to be across the back of the car or in front of it, with no room for a bench. Plus almost dropped the bike on the car one time.

Make it as large as the space allows - you can never have too much room in a garage, especially if you want to work on the car..

I've got motorbike, VX, shelving and spare wheels/tyres in my standard single garage. It's a bit tight but perfectly achievable (and no need to push car in/out of garage.
