Exige Type Vx Coupe Panels

Here are some pictures of the car on which the kit is based. Appearance is almost identical other than the length of coupe panel is longer (original doesn't fully cover boot), they are GRP rather than carbon fibre and the hardtop has the option of being double skin.
Benefits the kit offers are far better engine cooling, increased aero effect to the rear wing and an intersting modern facelift to the VX. Not fully unique but with numbers strictly limited to 8 cars, near enough.
The kit is fully reversible, so easy to return to standard should you decide to sell the car. The car will still be able to be used as a convertible. Also no MOT worries.
The kit is available in 2 guises
Option 1 - Bare single skin kit (unpainted). This is exactly what Cliffie has and is ideal for track focused cars. £733
Option 2 - Double skin option (unpainted). This combines the outer roof skin with a standard style inner skin with fully standard fixings. Skins will be supplied separately but with full instructions on how to bond together. The units are unpainted so the bodyshop you elect to paint them will bond them too for pennies. £878
Delivery costs are yet to be worked out but collection from the Brighton area is an option.
Items can be supplied painted if required but this will incur further transportation costs.
Coupe panels can easily be fixed using aerocatches as seen below (lockable options available).
Moulds are ready for production and Items are being produced to order so first come first served.

Yeah that ^^^Be nice if you could make it so it locked down using the stock boot catch then it would just be bolt on and off no other drilling and fitting

Does it still hinge for boot access or is it a case of completely removing it?
Original bot is replaced by this kit but fits back on after with no issues.
Posting on behalf of Andy as he can't get to a computer
1. Andywilson - option2 (double skinned)
Andy needs to pm me to place an order.
Me but depends when you need money or deposit etc
I will reply to your pm's now mate but payment secures place in the queue.

I would love to have used the original bot catch for this but it's just not realistic tbh. position is all wrong for this kit so to develop this would be a lot of work! That is not to say you could not do it yourself
Didn't all 8 go in the other thread?!?
8 People said they were interested which was what I needed to see if these kits would sell. Now I'm hoping for these people to come along and buy them but I've learned before that people are often less keen when money is asked for. No offence intended to anyone but if someone offers me cash then they can have one. Other thread is months old I guarantee not everyone on that list actually buys.
im having one, when you need the money for?

I hope very much that these guys pm me as requested but only two off that list have so far...
As far as the reversibility of this mod goes the only holes required to drill are for two catches within the boot (in the trough on the wet side of the seal). Totally invisible when car is converted back to standard. Front fittings can utilise the original small bolts that hold down the roll over bar. Tap out the end of the pin and thread it on like a bolt extender. Easy and again fully reversible.
Someone else mentioned seals between hardtop and coupe.... It will only need edge protectors really, cant see why a full blown seal here is required as it will have a cold air feed integrated...
Any more questions please feel free but this is a for sale thread so please treat it as such

Yeah have done
See you had the same idea as me of extending the two small threaded blts for holding the roll over cover down. They are perfect as the plate that secures them is rock solid!!!
