Where can i get replacement keys from? i seem to have misplaced mine and i have no idea where they are.. (think i lost them in town tbh) there was nothing really on them apart from the alarm fob and the car key along with my bent valve, (more gutted about loosing this tbh) so, where can i get a replacement set of keys and fobs from? cheers.

and sit down before you ask vxl for a price. It was a while ago, but i didn't get much change from £200 for a new programmed key and alarm fob.

Got my alarm fob from the makers, and a new key from Vauxhall, who have to programme it anyway. If your dealer is anything like mine, they'll tell you they know all about the VX220, then an hour later ring to say they can't start it on the key. Doesn't fill you full of confidence in them after that. Anyway, after pointing out the position of the starter button they programmed it pretty quickly. Think it all cost me a lot of money and that was three years ago.

The moral is: get some spares sorted, whilst they're still only spares.

Easy. If you've got OP-COM and the "red card" for your car from Vauxhall.

The red card cost me about £20 and the guide is here: http://www.vx220.org...-than-a-tenner/ The alarm fob is a different matter - if you don't have the alarm code card, you're out of luck!

The originally supplied red plastic card was only for the alarm (not available from vauxhall), cheapest option is a refurbed unit from Abacus Alarms  The white (credit card size) piece of paper has the chassis number / engine ecu code required for key programming (available from vauxhall for about £30, only if you still have the original ecu fitted)
