first car i had and loved it
it was strange and to start with all show and no go but that changed after a year!

ended up like this with a performance ford mag feature
i had built and fitted a 1.6 ford sigma engine from a focus, using hayabusa throttle bodies ss4 shawspeed cams and some other bits like a lsd carbon sparco seats and a cage made it a fun little car
engine was 175bhp at 8k and it loved it up there!

KA shell went to ireland to be a rally car, i kept the engine and ecu for the kit car project
i got offered a old 750 motor club race car that was built by Shawspeed who supply my engine parts, this was the state of the car when i went to view it

gave it a good scrub and removed stickers

the car had some nce bits, quick rack gaz coilvers, quafe gearbox just needed a engine and loom!

tracking done

then out on the road for my first experience of 520kg and 175 bhp and my first time driving a RWD car

i can tell you that it was a good introduction to RWD and one i will not forget as the car went like a stabbed rat!
also i lead to me having a grin like this and hair style like this!

really enjoyed driving it, used it once when damp/wet it was like driving on ice!
fitted a nice led shift light set as didnt have time to lok at the rev counter

had a issue which was snapping a front wishbone under braking,
lucky for me it was on the road near work so borrowed the fork truck and went to go get it!

the damage

took ages to get a pair of new arms made and the car was stuck outside at work which wasnt great!

advantages to working at a large Ford parts warehouse, fix it at night!

pedal box trial fit

engine back out

at this point i should have just waited for the bodywork but jon from Shawspeed called said he had some nice steel rods and high comp pistons and had designed a new set of cams to push the engine over 200bhp
i thought well since i am rebuilding it might a well make it go faster!
engine stripped

if you have wondered what the chassis look like here you go

got some cheap axle stands and some tube, made my own chassis mounts and welded them on

though they would make future work easier and safer
all running gear
