Had my NA VX a few months now and need to get a few things fixed, one of which I didn't spot when I bought it - basically a crack in the passenger door, and the minor damage I did know about on the drivers door under the very cracked sill. Sill will be sorted when Scott sends me some carbon sills but I want to get the fibreglass fixed as I'm not confident with repairing it or painting it myself. Anyway anyone know where best to take it for a good job but not extortionate?

Maidstone sports cars quoted £1500 to fixed the passenger door and spray most of the left side, fix and spray the drivers door sill and spray some marks around the exhaust/ rear wheel trim. I'm sure they'd do a good job but it was a little more than I was expecting.
Thanks
Kev

The door is a common fault on cars where the door pin is too far inside the car, causing the door to be pulled in too far, thus stressing the "door skin" where it strikes the car. It's worth adjusting your door pins to stop it occurring again after fixing it.

Thanks. I'll give them a call. I'll have a look at the door pin placement as well. Don't want to fix it and then have it happen a second time.
