Just added another date to the races I'm going to do. Brands on 8th June in Team Trophy

60 minute proper racing

although you will be dizzy going round brands hatch indy circuit for that long.

its odd they don't run a trackday trophy on that weekend as well, as both seem to share the weekends together

Video was well worth a watch!!! Cracking driving, looked really confident in the car as well, a credit to the BoT lads :) Bet that made the kid's days as well.

OK so we're all ready to go again. After being greatly overweight at Oulton park we've cut some weight out which involved stripping out the doors, deskinning the front and rear lids, fitting plastic side windows and a few other little things. Fitted some brake cooling at the front, put a new driveshaft on the drivers side to go with the new one fitted on the passenger side at Oulton. Also done a few other little tweaks (all within the regs). We're now running at about 139bhp/ton rather than the 133 we aere at Oulton, still a way off the 150 maximum but every little helps. Will be doing the track day at Donington tomorrow so I've got a 5.30am start!!

We've considered this, would lose around 3kg with just the water!! Problem is misting up, would need a heat source and not just a fan to provide air.

Let me draw something up, there's a lot of weight in there that you don't need for what you want.

Thanks Mike, its a full grid on Saturday so I think there will be a few class B cars that weren't at Oulton last month but we'll see what we can do.

Something like a PC case fan , mounted just below the wiper where the flexi pipe would normally attach. I find cold air clears the screen better than warm, just the drivers window fully down seems to swirl around and do the job, but you cannot have the window open in a race car. So a 12v case fan some of those shift a serious amount of air.

yup, a 92mm fan should have a similar diameter to the inlet duct.40 cfm should do it. http://www.specialte...-pid-13634.html i'd tigerseal it directly to the cabin inlet.

If it needs heat I can knock something up, but most screen clearing happens with cold air as the engine isn't up to temperature anyway.
