Leaky roofs will obviously been discussed but I have searched for various "hard top AND leaks" etc.
My soft top leaks a little and my car will be kept outside all the time, will a hard top prevent the leaks? is the sealing method the same, is it the seals not the roof? Are the cheaper Hard tops just as good as the Vauxhall one?
Does anyone else keep their car outside all through winter?

Alot of the cars leak, and a hardtop is not a cure.
The soft top on mine does leak a very small amount from the join of the
windscreen/roof/ and door. but only if stationary in a thunderstorm. I can jetwash it with no problems
It can be stopped by adjusting the side window, roof tention and door position. It's a bit of a black art. but it can be done, the soft top can be made totally waterproof.
If the windows and doors are not adjusted properly, both hard and soft tops will leak
When the turbo was released it had different seals, which can be retro fitted to an N/A.
A better option is to get a shower cap for when the car is standing

Yes, and its a soft top. I also throw on the showercap at night (in wintertime).Does anyone else keep their car outside all through winter?
I do suffer from just a few dribbles, but when you are old like me it's to be expected.

I have a Turbo, and I haven't taken the hardtop off yet, coz of all this bloody rain. I haven't had any kind of leak at all. I would recommend a hardtop, but I can't comment on the soft-top yet, as I haven't used it.
Alternatively, you could move to Spain, but it will probs cost you more!
