Nearly forgot to post these...

They're clips from last week's Chris vs Dunk GT5 shenanigans:

In-car with Claws
In-car with MrDCG
The old trackside/tracking version

Yes; these are all just different viewing perspectives of the same race
Yes; the picture and audio are gash (filmed on my phone, in the dark, with the sound coming from headphones so I didn't waken the kids)
No; the driving ain't great
Yes; I do have better things to do with my time...

They're marginally more watchable if you view in HD.

FLAME: ON

ps - if anyone knows of a way I can export these playbacks from the PS3 without buying an inline digitiser for the output signals, I'd appreciate you telling me :D

Squeeze into the wall?! Why, I've never been so insulted! Possibly...yes... :D ...but it was unintentional...honest... ...a racing incident :D

I don't have one, always wanted to get a decent wheel, don't have the space really. I'm heading out, so I won't be on tonight

I have a Logitech GT Force wheel. Some folk don't like it as much as a controller but I love it & would recommend it to anyone who loves driving (and has the space for one)

I had a shot of my mate's G27 when he had it rigged up to a seat, it was brilliant, much more involving and the manual gears are more instinctive, not a fan of manual when using the pad, it just doesn't seem right or real

I can use manual on a pad but it just feels wrong, always forget to change gear lol. There is a problem with the way gt5 utilises the manual clutch for instance you cant change up a gear if the wheels are spinning it just theows you into neutral, and you cant get into your gear unless you fully depress the clutch, not bad once you get used to it but is annoying when toe/heeling.

Always fancies the G27 but didn't know about those idiosyncrasies with GT5. I've got my Logitech set up on a GameRacer seat. It's a nice set up. I rarely have to move it out of the way, but when I do, it slides and folds away easily into quite a compact little shape. Biggest hassle (and it's not a problem because of how infrequently I have to do it) is removing the backrest. It's only a couple of hand-twist screws.
