Hi guys, Organising a delivery company to pick up and deliver a parcel for me. Not sure who are good (if any lol) and who to avoid. Myhermes are way cheaper but I've never heard of them. There is then a big jump up to ups/parcelforce etc. It's not an expensive item or particularly fragile.

Ive used Myhermes once before and on the face of it seemed fine. They arrived on time to collect and it arrived safely without any complaints from the buyer. Id use them again.

I've just used parcel2go to send a hardtop to Germany only fedex damaged it, upshot is that fedex Germany have said they will pay the claim but parcel2go have refused saying its on the prohibited items list for posting (which it isn't) as I checked before posting, also took out extra insurance to cover the cost, looks like there trying any excuse to keep the money refunded by fedex. A bit of a pain in the butt to be honest.

I did notice that the 'prohibited' list includes any kind of car panel. It's not so much a car panel as a bit of rad surround. It's hardly expensive either so if it gets lost/smashed to pieces it'll be annoying and delay my repair more than anything. Think I'll go for parcelmonkey or possibly the myhermes for price. Cheers for the help.

In my experience all couriers can be good and bad. The insurance is crap with most of them.

Transglobalpremium great prices for ups and TNT. You get what you pay for with couriers.... Myherpes is a huge mistake IMHO.

They are all great until something goes wrong, then they are all shite tbh, ultimately go for the cheapest and accept it's a gamble :(

If you look online at reviews then literally every courier gets an absolute slating! I've used parcelmonkey with CityLink 48hr delivery at £8.99 (up to 10kg) 7 times in the last month and all have gone very smoothly and can be tracked.

Think I'll use parcelmonkey which is citylink or some such. I've had good and bad experiences with most couriers and agree they are fine till they loose/break something. Not something worry about as it's only £20 part.

Citylink are Franchise run so vary massively in terms of quality of service IME. Hermes have been poor when my customers have used them to collect something from me.
