I may have missed this point, but I know that the faster Elise models where found to get floaty at high speed :o as the ground effect built up, so two rear vertical spliter fins where added to the rear undertray. The na and the turbo have the same clean underside as the Elise and I know that the rubber and suspension set-up is changed on the 220's and assume Vauxhall would have considered this  . IMO the rear diffuser on the 111S Elise is a marketing ploy only. Diffusers only work correctly at very low ride heights. There are too many places where air can leak out from underneath the Elise/VX chassis, rendering the 'ground effect' useless. The front splitters on the VXT should help high speed stability though, by reducing the air flow under the car and reducing the floaty feel at very high speeds. IIRC the aerodynamic changes on S2 and VX - lower roll hoop and higher rear clam - helped reduce rear lift, so it shouldn't be an issue. The diffusers do look great though :) Gary
