The black vents really set it off. Most important question, are you happy with it?

Hey Chris, sorry to hear you're not happy mate. The mod was always meant as a 'bobyshop mod' to get it just right but your diy fit looks amazing, colour match is amazing!!! Well impressed with what you've achieved, Matt's right, you should be proud. Tbh too, it's not like the original was perfect, and with the proper inner skin integrated I think it's an improvement over the original.

oh of cause jimmy, the only issue is the sides kinda stick up a little more than the hardtop but tbh.. i got past the stage of caring when i looked back through the pics etc and realised how much work i have already done.. at the end of the day im not a professional at fibreglass of body work its just what ive learnt through my time with fibreglass over the years so im happy with how i have got it, though i think with a couple more hours i think i could of made it better the only problem was that once you have everything fit etc you really have to put the seals on and see how it all looks before wrapping but i couldnt really do that so it was a guess at the end, looks alright and i dont think many people will spot it. for now, it will do, im going to save up and get the full thing resprayed and fit properly and maybe have another look at some hinges etc but for now.. its staying as it is.. i want to drive it now.. not have it in the garage :)

I really wouldn't worry about it, nobody notices the odd blemish when you whizz past them fast :) Well done again.
