my bonnet seems to flap about a little at speed at the edges, I guess its a case of TADTS. I think also the catch needs adjusting too 'cause it seems to knock a bit over bumps...anybody done this themselves?

The edges of the bonnet flap on all VX's and I remmebr a thread a long time ago suggesting that if you alter this so that they are pinned down on the rubber bushes you may cause damage to your bonnet. Thus TADTS. I have never adjusted the bonnet catch.

The rubber stoppers on the outside of the bonnet trailing edge are adjustable. If it is moving around noticably, you could wind it up a few notches, although not too far as Brad says, or you may stress the bonnet. I've fitted bonnet pins on mine and removed the lock, and it has held fine at over 130mph, so I think the bonnet is strong enough. To adjust, prise off the rubber stopper, slacken off the lower lock nut, unscrew the bolt slightly (try it one full turn at a time), retighten the lock nut, and replace the rubber stopper. Easy thumbsup

My dealer adjusted the rubber mounts for me. It still wobbles a small amount but as already mentioned you don't want to wind them up too much.
