23bhp increase claimed from dbilas

Fits z22se Astra, Zafira and VX220

Retails at over £1000!

Kit includes everything to fit to your car, including original instruction sheet. The dBilas inlet, used gaskets, EGR cheater and wiring

Great modification to unleash the extra power from the z22se.

Gaskets included - although id recommend you create another paper gasket from the original.

An EGR cheater blanking plate and wiring will also be supplied.

A good piece of kit but what your asking is half way to a soupercharger ;-) . Good luck with the sale :-)

It could compliment a supercharger quite nicely. Rather than using the GM inlet manifold with laminovas you could use this and an inter cooler to get past the restrictive design.

And what , where would you bolt the soupercharger to .

Half of what a supercharger costs? Thanks for the reply. At least with the dbilas inlet it runs on standard ecu, so no need to remap. Relatively cheap bit of kit for pretty good N/A power gaisn

The last supercharger kit sold here by Rosco went for 750 £ ;-)

Indeed. Dbilas still sells the kit, but with remap.

Yes, that's the bit that confused me. I would be interested if it didn't need the remap but I know little of such things. Just want bolt on bits.

Plenty of options, just need to think outside the box. We've got it easy having a GM kit, but it doesn't mean there aren't other ways of doing it, particularly if people want to cool the charged air better.

Finally, a supercharger kit does not make a supercharged car. That £750 didn't cover the charge cooler, pump, header tank, idle pulley, loom extension, air filter ect... I could go on. It's not fair to say its half a supercharger conversion.

Flowtec manifold

for Opel / Vauxhall Speedster

2,2 16V 108kW Z22SE

power increase: 17 kW / 23 HP

incl. an electronic update of the ECU

this kit includes a dbilas dynamic highflow exhaust manifold

After reading the dbilas website (section inserted), it seems that you should get a highflow exhaust manifold, ECU update and the inlet manifold for around £1000. It makes the £450 seem a bit pricey concidering you do not get the ECU upgrade or the exhaust manifold.

that picture is the astra version, not the vx220 version, the TB is at the wrong end for a vx220 thumbsdown

If someone buys it to fit a vx220 there's going to be tears then. Not sure you'll get the claimed extra 23hp without the rest of the kit either.
