I don't know how to phrase this really and it's not easy typing it either.

If you are not a pet owner - then no worries. I do not expect you to understand.

In the space of 9 days my beloved two year old Chow Chow has gone from happy and healthy to being admitted to hospital and chances are she will loose her sight. No idea at this stage what has caused such horrendous damage to her sight. 9 days ago she had what looked like conjunctivitis. Treated it as that and now this. :(

So, for what it's worth and whether you believe in it or not - send my dog some love. Shout it out and give her some positive thoughts please. I am willing to give anything a try and you lot have big love :)

Her name is Agatha and she is my best friend. (apart from Mrs of course)

Little piccy below in what will always be just happy times I guess :( Sorry to be a soppy twat. This has ripped me apart.

As a dog owner, I really feel for you buddy. A lot of people don't realise why people get so attached to pets. Until you have one. Fingers crossed she'll come out on the road to recovery :grouphug:

Gutted to hear this mate. I know how much she means to you. Let's hope that her sight is O.k. but, remember dogs are extremely adaptable. My in-laws spaniel lost her sight two years ago and she hasn't changed a bit. Still loves people, still loves walks on the beach. A few more comedy moments yes, but she takes it all in her stride. Never gets upset, never snaps. She's a wonderful dog and so is yours. If she has to, Aggy will adapt and so will you. :grouphug:

sh*t... I am really sorry to hear this. I saw your comments in the 'what gets on your tits' thread... It is horrible as there is nothing you can do to help, and it's worse because if it was a human they would have been able to tell you all the symptoms.... So it would hopefully have never got to this point. Big love and wishes heading your, Mrs Goose and Aggy's way.
