I honestly thought this was some kind of April Fool's gag. I'm now wondering if it's not some kind of twisted revenge for the legendary Liverpool Street cock block.

Its good to be back!

 

We need a meet, its been a long time Big Steve!!

So far I've:

• Changed brake pads all round and realised the rear callipers need refurbishing desperately!
• Changed the supercharger belt as the one on it only had 3 out of 5 ribs left
• Removed a couple of clam bolts which were cross threaded and rattling, tapped the thread of the captive nuts and renewed the bolts.
• Sorted out some coolant pipework that was rubbing on each other and eventually would've burst.
• Secured the exhaust silencer heat shield to reduce the rattling a little.
• And fitted a rad fan override switch in the cabin

After the national I'm going to remove the front and rear clams and fibreglass repair all the damage on them. Then just get a half decent match of paint to rattle can myself. The full respray can wait until the winter!

told you the rear calipers needed doing   Even mentioned it in the add. these are the guys i was going to use http://www.brakecaliperspecialists.uk/ i was quoted £125 per caliper, full rebuild, paint and return shipping
