I hope they are stiffer than jk seats.

Stroke them more, that should help

Would you know if these sit any lower than std ?

Also, errrr, my mate has a bit of a fat arse.... errr, he only just fits in the standard ones... he wonders are these narrower than standard seats, or the same... He got painfully stuck in some bucket Recaros once.... bad times.

At the rate I have gained weight since seling the VX, I won't ever be able to get back into a VX by the time I can afford one. So the recaro's comment is saved in the 'important things to remember' part of the brain.

Okay. That might not be strictly true. But I do have a pair of Exige double shear subframes here that are just crying out for something to fit to them.

I'm even beginning to like them in white, with some Elise Club Racer padding on. :o

How does the padding attach to the seat?

Like I said, that may not be strictly true.

Can't see anything at DeRoure for that padding. So you might need to speak to the guys at Allon White down the road from me, who've taken over from the now closed Lotus trim shop. Sure DtT could easily replicate something similar though......

They're not exactly the same seats (no harness holes on the Lotus version) but the main carcass looks identical.

Lotus seem to do them in other colours as well:-

Another gelcoat(?) and different version of the padding:-

Interested to know how much they flex, doesn't look to be the same issue with the rollbar protectors as there appeared to be with the Comp Worx beauties.

Yeah, that's absolutely key. I'd much rather sacrifice a kilo or two over JK's and some of the others, for a lack of obvious twist/flex in them. These still look a little more like the Corbeau LE carcass to me, rather than the Lotus seat (so more like the VXR seats than the higher backed Exige seats).
