Ok - can't believe this has gone on so long. I started this thread ages ago and it's taken this long to get a code reader and have some time to look into it.

Basically, the car won't start. It churns over but won't fire. This is what the opcom thing says: -

When I clear the errors and try again they pop right back up. There are no other errors.

I have removed the loom of doom connection, sprayed it with contact cleaner, let it dry and put it back together. Doesn't mean I did it properly. The crank position sensor has also been changed.

Looking through previous threads with this error I get injector failure,

This thread annoyed me. Forum member gets lots of help from others, obviously gets it fixed but doesn't bother to report back on how it was fixed.

This thread was very helpful, and the start of my diagnosis.

Looking at the error message it's clear fuel pressure is the problem. Pressing the bleed valve on the injector rail showed no fuel coming out.

When I turn the ignition on I do hear a click, but that's it, none of the usual whiring sound that goes on for a second or two.

I've checked the fues in the boot and all are ok and look in good condition.

Currently I have the relays out and am waiting for the contact cleaner to dry before putting them back in.

One thing I did notice is when I took the yellow Lotus relay out (the starter inhibitor I think) the fuel pump made it's usual whirring sound for a second.

Anyone with any tips please chip in.

All 4 injectors low, sure the pump is providing enough pressure?

Clearly it's not providing any pressure, hence no fuel from the bleed.

Yes, that's what it's looking like. Hope it's not the pump.

Hmm, well making progress. When I put all the cleaned-up relays and fuses back in it started ok. Funny because they didn't look in too bad condition and I can't believe they're damp as the car's been sat in the garage for 5 months. I still have the EML on and it's showing: - P0100 - <Unknown DTC> (02) - Intermittent But I'm currently bypassing the airbox as I disconnected it to get the new crank position sensor in. Will put it back together and see if the error persists. Was nice to hear it running again. Unfortunately it'll be a little while before it's on the road as it needs a service and a new brake servo hose.

Yes, once I'd put the inlet hose back on the fault cleared and now all is well. MAF would have no chance to work if no air was going through it! Just a bit concerned that the connections looked ok but cleaning them fixed it. Wonder if there's an intermittent fault lurking....

I had a break in one of the wires below one of the relays in the boot when I had starting problems with mine.

Thanks Lou_m, I'll give the wires a wiggle when it's running and see if I can get it to cut out.
