Hi, I am currently changing my radiator to a triple pass Pro Alloy one. I tried to fit it today, but it is too thick to get the radiator surrond seated correctly. The fitting instructions suggest that there is a foam surround, which i dont have, which suggests that I had the earlier thinner radiatior. I seem to recall that there was a post on here showing, which part of the crash box had to be cutt off? I would be grateful if someone could provide a link, or pictures, thanks.

Right part is removed, left part still on.

Great, thanks for the picture I assume that the foam on the newer models is to direct the air flow through the radiator, instead of the crashbox sides. If the sides are cut down by 10mm, then presumably there is no need for the foam? Or is it just easier to remove the whole lot and get some foam from VXL
