Hi All, just as a meter of interest another VX has popped up in New Zewland for sale, (http://www.bains.co....vauxhall-vx220/)

I looked at relocating to Aus a few years ago when I had a TVR Griffith.  I was weighing up the import costs but then someone pointed out second hand prices we huge!

Not a Griffith, but still £25k roughly!

 

Ended up not going but id urge anyone in the same position to take their car with them!

Yep, asking for $34k and getting that may be two completly different things. As for importing/exporting the more the merrier down under, its quite stunning the reception these cars get here. Even washing in the driveway on the weekend attracts the car fanatics who've only ever heard of the VX and never seen one.

I'm enjoying every minute with the car even during our winter when the top stays firmly on.
