Hi Dan,

I'm afraid they don't make one but there's not much need. The only part that fails is the radiator hose with the bleed valve in and is available here: http://www.elise-sho...0-p-502179.html

Was only for aesthetics. Shame one isn't made. Thanks for the info provided though. Cheers Dan

You can't see much of the engine in the bay anyway so having fancy pants pipe work is pointless

not for aesthetics but because my hoses are 12 years old and swolen/falling to pieces!

Just buy the bits individually :)

You see more on our cars than others as it isn't completly hidden ;)

i have been buying individual bits that mostly fit well but it's not very good having hose clips on every bend :(

Thanks for the responses everyone.

Would be nice to able to replace the hoses as several i have been to look at have swollen or tired looking hoses, plus the aesthetics even if you can see much of them.

Perhaps a group getting together and putting a group order in with Samco or forge perhaps  ??

At the current age of most N/A's this will become a more common problem. Perhaps "VX220 Parts" would be interested in putting a kit together?

just had a look around for a place that does custom hoses - there's quite a few actually

this one http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/ strikes my attention because:

Q. I want to buy a kit but my car isn't listed?

If your car isn't listed we currently don't make a kit for it. If you are a member of a club why not organise a group buy and we may be able to make a new kit.

I'll send them an email tomorrow and see what they say

I may be able to help if you can't get something sorted out. I have hoses made up for my heaters and i'm sure they can do something here if there's enough demand.

Talk to Geary @Eliseparts too? He already does most (coolant)hoses for the various types of Elises and I suspect he has the contacts to have replacements made for the VX too if someone can supply him with the original ones.

If you ask nicely he may even do a 'humped' hose for the SC boys?

Bye, Arno.
