Now that I'm a train douchebag I have about 45mins each way to kill. Are there any portable gaming systems with a fairly decent (forza/gt) racing game on them? Can also include mandroid phones as I have one and might have missed a good driving sim on that

PSP has Gran Turismo, the physics etc. are good but as a game it's pretty dull.

Real Racing 3 on mandroid as well, but touch screen controls are for homos.

The physics over the limit on real racing three are hilarious (like a SNES game from years ago), definitely cannot called it a 'sim' :P

Lol, I never got far enough to find out. Bought an analog game pad and then found it doesn't support gamepads so binned it straight away.

I dabbled in emulatuon several years ago and had my psp running mario 64, about 100 snes games and sega megadrive games and some arcade games. The lack of stability drove me mad and constant pissing about with settings to get the games running perfect also would take some time. I dont know about now but I was going to get a GP2X hand held as this was supposed to be the best to use. I belive there may be an xbox emulator available now.

The gp2x runs linux so may be possible to run some pc titles. I think quake was emulated on this system so posible for forza. As the gp2x is a similar spec to the xbox 360 I am told .

GTPSP is ok if you do the challenges and dont mind just doing timetrails  after that, there are races but they are a little sh*t and you normally win.

Real Racing 3 isnt too bad for a phone game, its like GT in the same way you race and do up your car etc, there are litterally thousands of races to do aswell.

Sure it's ok for a phone game, but the handling is like an arcade game, you cannot swap ends. If you don't break enough for a corner you just go to max steering lock and you get a slide at max drift angle that scrubs off the speed, there's no need to opposite lock because the car will not go past that angle. Boo

Formula 1 on psp original is quite good. GTA was ok too but I would enjoy the GP2X much more for stable emulation of old consoles and arcade.

The GP2X runs mame so you could get sega rally 1&2 Daytona usa and Scud racer. Also ridge racer series and if you really wanted virtua racing but I would rather have a blast on outrun or afterburner.
