Erm can someone point me in the direction of a DIY? I did search the Guides and Tutorials section but couldn't find anything  :wacko: .

Near side rear wheel off, arch liner out then you'll see the airbox.

Good grief, never realised that changing the air filter was such a mission! I have been blessed in the past with cars where you just open the bonnet, unclip the box and drop it in  :happy:

It's the job i hate most, and in my vx ownership i've done the belts + water pump, front clam off for a new rad, steering rack, engine mounts, wheel bearings and a few other smaller bits!!

my most hated job (and I have a list similar to yours) is just the arch liners. fcuking pig to get in/out

Haha good point actually, my nsr isn't a problem but the osr has caused a few swear words i can tell you!!

wheel off, remove front liner screws only, fold back liner

So went to remove liner screws and they decided to spin in the clam, plus then i put a little too much pressure on one and cracked it...doh.

 

Gave up on getting at it from there and went in from the top. What a mission though, it really isnt a simple task like on any other car!
