Just been on the phone to Ben of BG Motorsport(01327 855200) , silverstone - they are on the Ohlins website as a UK supplier. I wanted to know about servicing timescales, costs etc.... They reckon they ran a golf for 60,000 mile on Ohlins and only saw a 10-15% drop in performance of the shock when they dyno'd its movements. He also talked about stuff i didnt understand :P His final comment were that you only need frequent servicing (once a year) on Ohlins if you have a race car and are a leading runner. thumbsup Servicing is £60 per shock off the car(+parts if needed), but they could strip them off the car/service if needed, price tba. They also sell Ohlins - £352.80+ vat each = £1658 a set! I want Ohlins!!!!! :D :D
