Just taken this in PX from member harryhornet on here great one owner HPI clear car!

Posted Image

Used as a daily driver by one single owner since new and comes with full service history

Recent items include a suspension refresh, tyres and radiator all the nightmare jobs! Drives fantastically and has been used daily right until it was traded into us today so is in excellent mechanical order.

Comes with folder full of receipts has been a very well maintained car throughout its life.

Good Points:

Absolutely mechanically solid

New Tyres all round

12 Months Tax

1 owner from new

vx220.org known car

watertight soft top (can do a great deal on a brand new hardtop)

Cheapest ever HPI clear VX?

Sale price about the value of the car in parts!

Bad points:

Small amount of bubbling/osmosis on rear clam

Some previous water ingress to one front and one rear light now totally dry

Small crack in driver sill where seatbelt once caught in door

Never going to win pebble beach concourse but drives fantastic and is a very solid car. Would make a great 2nd VX for anyone wanting to keep the miles off or a track car or just a cheap way into a VX!

Yes Ian has my beloved LY now! I think he would have keep this forever but the chance of a "new" car was a great opportunity for him.

Well I thought it would make an ideal car for a VX owner wanting to keep the miles down on their main car or just stick some Gaz coilies on it and do some trackdays. Thats what I probably would have done but I've gone and bought an Exige at the same time so cant hang onto this sadly.

If I had the spare cash I would of been tempted with this!

Thought that one went for circa £4.5k a few months back?  Lower miles (75k? IIRC) but didn't have as clean a history.  Was almost enough to tempt me back.

Got my hpi clear one for £5300 with a 5th of the miles. That was very stupidly priced by the seller though. This would be a perfect base car to buy a low mile/new Saab engine and SC it. :)
