Yes the garage believes it is the seal to the sender unit. Anyone else experienced this problem before??? Back order on the seals are at least ten days from Germany!!

Hello everyone:

It's my first time in this forum, so that i'll try to be polite, but it's probably my english level doesnt' allow me, sorry for advance ;)
My name is Pedro, i bought my Speedster in 2006 althought was build in 2002. When i bought my car had 9000 km and it was like new.
I haven't used my car  a lot because to work i use another. After 1 year stopped now the fuel pump is broken and the mechanic trying out the fuel pump sender has broken one piece. Then i have to buy all. Anybody can say to me where can i buy it? In Spain, is very difficult to get and for me is very difficult be sure is the correct spare.

Thank you for advance

Thank you Vocky and Morsey:

Vocky, my speedster is 2.2 so i don't know if the spare that you say about lotus are the same. Are originals or used the spares in that web?
Morsey, where have you found that price?
I have found this web but i'm scared for to buy it and that this wasn't the correct spare?

By the way, how can i upload a image, because i would like show you which is the piece and how has the mechanic broken it.

Really thank you, in Spain is very difficult to buy.

the 2.2 NA and 2.0 turbo share the same fuel pump assembly, which is also used in the Lotus Europa :)

The Courtenay fuel pump does not include the parts you need, it is only the bare fuel pump, not the complete assembly :(

use Photobucket or similar to post pictures thumbsup

Thank you very much.

I'm going to show you the broken piece:

The pipe with white clip is broken, if this pipe wouldn't be broken, i only have to change the fuel pump, but now he have to change all.
Obviously, i prefer the new spare, but i think i too much expensive.
Deroure isn't new, is it?
The people from courtenay say to me it's the correct spare, but i prefer advices from people without interest. ;)

I'm looking in germany too, but is tiring.

Deroure is a Lotus dealer and so the complete fuel pump assembly is brand new thumbsup

Having rechecked the Courtenay link on my laptop, it is the complete fuel pump assembly

But the Lotus part is £100 cheaper and exactly the same  ;)

Finally i have contacted with deroure, but they couldn't to be sure that the fuel pump sender has the same dimensions and technical specifications than opel speedster. Vocky are you sure it's exactly the same?

Thank you
