Yours sizes must be slightly cheaper.  Mine was for a 205 front and 235 rear.

I can buy three sets of federals for 2 sets of Ad08s though!

Have to say the price of the Federals is tempting me. Just got to decide what size I want/need.

Would I be stupid running the federals as my one and only set of wheels, being as they are a more track focused tyre? Weekend car, off road most of winter, few Trackdays plus the odd hoon hopefully. Doesnt usually go out in the wet unless I'm caught out or it's a wet track. I know some of you have two or even three sets of wheels.

I am still trying to gte my head around whether 215 Federal would work on the front as if not I only have the AD08R choise. Anyone know the widths of the Yokohamas in comparison? What a saga over some rubber! Martin s

I used my Federals as my only set for 12months.  I did 1 trackday in which they were very impressive IMO, but seemed to be more than sufficient, for my driving style, on the road, in all weather conditions.

For the money I would recommend them to anyone.

Maybe it's me being stupid, but on that link the only 17inch Yoko AD08s I can see are the 215/40/17?

Am I missing something or have you guys just depleted their stock of other sizes?

Haha, too slow on my account then.

Have to say I'm tempted by the near £400 price tag of the Federals. Has anyone gone for these in 215/40R17 and 235/40R17 yet?

This thread should be changed to which tyre size fits and howmuch they cost as there's been nowt about DCT's for about 5 pages!

No, it should be locked and consigned to history as being the least decisive thread known to mankind. Like most tyre threads.

Hush up your moaning both of you.  ;-)

It's better that it's all in one place as the tyre lottery is directly linked to the ATS DTCs.  I'd rather that than several different threads.

Like most things it's an arse if you choose the wrong type/size to suit your needs and will prove a costly experiment.  At least this way people can all feedback on one place and it's hardly like this is the most off topic a thread has gone on here.

Half a dozen of you hemming and hawing and procrastinating over what to get, despite what's already been written by those who've gone before isn't going to help on the feedback front.

Whatever you end up with, it won't suit one person or another and the rear wheels will still look to fat for the car. Posted Image

My question still stands - has anyone fitted the above sized and branded tyres to their wheels yet?
