Tin snips and pliers not up to the job? If not, my engineering skills are exhausted. :beat:

I have fitted one to a new Saab crank pulley, the face has to be machined for the spacers (which are fitted but not visible in the picture below)

Does that also apply to the LSJ 6-rib pulley?

I really like the way the crank sensor position is exactly centred on the oil pump TDC mark  Imnotworthy

What you cannot see is that the z22se crank is in the exact same position to the z22se crank sensor location as this trigger wheel and new crank sensor position  :D

I have all the trigger wheels here, but currently still trying to source the crank sensor brackets. Plus an extended loom required for the crank sensor (this will just be a male - female style extension lead).

The group buy price will probably have to go up, but that really depends on the final cost of the outsourced bracket manufacture, there is nothing I can do about this  :(

I will update sometime soon

Wouldn't it be easier to mount the crank position sensor off between the two bolts here?

Production would be quicker/cheaper as well as being less susceptible to being bent. Spacing it out for a 6 rib crank would be a case of using a few washers too.

and the problem with mounting at the bottom is the wishbone gets rather close to the sensor, before you ask

I've worked that one out (slowly ;)

I guess I should concentrate on getting new cams rather than worrying about this. And if I should be getting springs too.

dbilas springs are easier to fit than the supertech double valve springs, not really sure which is better or if both do exactly the same job

The dual spring Supertech are theoretically better, but i'm not sure it makes a difference in practice. I understand the Supertech need the roller followers to be ground?

(key bit might be the price - £130 vs. £260)

the Saab has cast roller rockers and these seem to be okay, this is where I think supertech altered the kit. The earlier kit was for the steel roller rockers and the latest kit is for the cast roller rockers, well thats how it seems, but I could be talking total rubbish

With Neil acting as the gatekeeper between the trigger wheels and myself, I expect it to be a lot easier (at least for me!)

We will mount the sensor on the bolt 180* opposite where you've drawn that bracket, but that's not possible on these wheels as they're already clocked on the pulley.
