So looks like I was the top novice after Lewis.  

3rd in class, but if I hadn't buggered up that final run I would have been 2nd.      Chuffed with that!

Claws - Just steer with the rear.  

 

To be fair there were a few slippy sections and a few that had a bid of mud on them, but that was part of the fun because you had to know when to be careful and when to give it some beans.

Yeah, I suppose increasing the rear tyre pressure would cancel out the understeer when applying a bootfull

I didn't really do anything to my tyre pressure.  I just made sure that they were all roughly what they should have been for road driving and as it turns out the surface was slippy enough not to require it.

 

I know the car with normal tyre pressures and how it handles so I didn't want to mess with that on my first outing.

Does this mean it was dom vs lewis? And lewis won? If so epic result....i shall be sure to wind him up no end when i see him next! One thing, not all the autotests have j turns etc in them....they do forward only ones now and again which are quite elise / vx friendly. I need to get back down to one next time you go though!

The autosolo tests are all forward and a lot more flowing so no need for handbrakes... Unless you want to of course.
