Live of course! I can't wait. Has anyone put any bets on? There's a good article on sky sports f1 website. Alonso making a good point about how difficult it will be at the end of the race to manage tyres, fuel, batteries etc. I think Hamilton will be on pole but I'm not counting Alonso out for the win. He knows how to manage everything and I think he will pull it out the bag in the race even if the Mercs are quicker! So excited now!

Bacon butties and party atmosphere isn't quite achievable at that time unless it's carrying on from Saturday night! Could be an option I guess :D Raikkonen WDC Merc Constructors I will make a bet on the race once I see how they are coping after FP1

Very much looking forward to race season start this week.

Bets on and I've bagged a few trips (work) - Barcelona, Monaco, Silverstone, Hungary and Germany! Hoping to be able to get a long haul towards the end of the season if possible - didn't find landing from Singapore and going straight to the office too bad last year..

juicy information: Teams have access to all cars GPS during testing, so observed all the Ferrari engined cars lift and coat 50-100 m before each corner while doing race simulation work. They're very thirsty engines!

Tink, I'm doing Singapore this year! Can't bloody wait. Tickets are on sale tomorrow! Not sure where to sit, have you done it before? Hopefully do Silverstone again if I can get the time off work, would like to do Hungary too as I've not been there and Hamilton is always strong there!

Ps, what beta do people have on? Think of putting a rennet on Hamilton for pole but I bet the odds are sh*t!

Awesome atmosphere - everywhere. The view from Marina Bay Sands with the track illuminated at night was spectacular.

I was in the paddock but met up with a Uni mate who now lives and works out there and he had got weekend tickets which provided a different grandstand seat each day so over the weekend he got to see a good chunk of the track. He found that really good and I'm sure you should be able to quickly find deals like that.

Wow, I'd love to stay at the Marina bay Sands it looks amazing! Did you stay at the hotel, do you think we could get on the terrace for a drink or is it just for hotel guests? I've heard the atmosphere is just epic, I'm so excited! I've done Monza, spa and Silverstone but I think Singapore will offer something completely different! I did see a weekend ticket that had 3 different grandstands over the 3 days, sounds like a good idea. A little different from Silverstone where you can sit where ever during Friday / Saturday I guess. What is access like to the music arena? My sister wants to watch the entertainment but doesn't want to watch the race, is it possible to just buy a ticket for that? Sorry for hijacking this thread!

Or are they using that as the regen phase to fill the batteries up as much as possible, before needing the real brakes to retain stability...

you must get to Monaco during the F1 weekend , it just takes a bit of planning well in advance.
