Pulling out of the Forza 5 thread, anyone interested in sim racing needs to check this out! 

 

best thing about it is its full of elises, so its probably the closest thing available to driving our cars.

Not at home this weekend so can't get on it but my mate just msg'd me to tell me the Macca is great, last time I was on I found the Elise SC the most fun, can really feel that car for some reason it transmits the feeling better to me.

 

But seconded, it is just plain awsome, don't care what you play and what you think a good sim is, this will change your mind, roll on the full release and multiplayer.

Just pulled some of my old replays off my NAS at home and installing now but only on an old core2@3.2 and gtx460 with no wheel or even controller lol. So only gonna be watching

now ive put a good couple of hours into the game, id probably say its the best sim out there atm. but i will wait anxiously for the multiplayer netcode because that will either make or break the game..

Yeah without good net code it will be no more than a trainer. Lets hope they nail it like they have with the physics.

It's beta JG, graphics will improve massively I'm sure as they use more of the dx11 features

Nooo, ive turned quite a bit of the graphics options down just to see how it looks at 200fps It could be a mixture of how ive only recorded at 75% original size thdn compressed through movie maker and then on top youtube doing its bit too.. But exactly what part looks rubbish? Shadows, cubemap reflections, aa or af, world detail etc?

here is a vid with all the gubbins turned on, you can see the effects of the reflections etc now, ive also recorded this in 100%.

 

youtube still makes it look a bit sh*t, must be how im rendering it. :S
