Evening all,

I have this little beauty kicking about from my last project and I'm thinking it would be a nice addition to the VX. Is anyone running one on a turbo?

Speaking to Race Technology they have told me that their plug and play kit for the Elise should work as apparently the looms are the same. Is this true? I see that vauxhall didn't see fit to spec the VX with a CAN interface which is a shame. Would have saved a load of hassle!

The owner of race technology has a vx220 turbo, so will have given you the correct response

Are these similar to the aftermarket stack dashes? Is there any difference?

Does he now! Always had good service from Race Tech but I just thought this sounded too good to be true. :)

It's not exactly standard, I believe it's running a compound charging system...

You'll have to dumb that down for me, not up on my Vauxhall lingo yet. :D I have a CAN interface for the dash which I used with a DTA S40 standalone ecu on my last project. I didn't think I could use it on the VX? Would be great if I could as literally becomes plug and play.

Thinking about it, it was probay serial at the dash end. The ecu output was CAN.
