Can anyone be persuaded to part with a Piper backbox they have taking up space, or is anyone going SC over the winter and planning a change of exhaust from their Piper?

I have a piper back-box fitted but wanted to get a turbo back-box fitted as its a bit loud with the supercharger. Not gonna be till late January though. What they worth second hand?

if you do find a piper back box
make sure it's repackable or at least convert it to be able to be repacked
they get very noisy after a while
mine has been repacked twice now
sounds nice though
even better when all the stuffings blown out !

Yeah, I've heard they blow their stuffing out after a while. Hopefully it's simple enough to add some access if I end up with one that isn't repackable

It should have a clamp arrangement at the right hand side which allows you to gain access to the guts by removing the side

mine has studs and bolts on one end wich allows you to remove the perferated tube and wrap aqustafill around it
