Just re-visted

http://www.howmanyle...tf8=✓&q=vx220

Looks like we lost 30 Turbos and 26 N/As last year up to Q2.

Hopefully not all 'culled' and some exported?

Somebody once posted dvla records saying march 2009 had 1905 in ttoal left, where as this website says 1559 left in 2009.

The numbers just don't add up if i compare the higest numbers total from that website, versus actually build as vx220 has gaps of hundreds over the years.

Anyone has dvla access these days?

I kept this from previous posts here:

UK DVLA march 2009

984 2.2 VX220 NA
87 2.2 VX220 Lightning
834 2.0 VX220 Turbo

UK DVLA September 2010:

964 2.2 VX220 NA
81 2.2 VX220 Lightning
748 2.0 VX220 Turbo
44 2.0 VX220 VXR

Press car I think. Got a feeling it was sold on and then written off.

The number plate DE51 RED belongs to Vauxhall  and is used on all their press cars. I am sure the original Union Jack VX was sold by Vauxhal and was owned by someone on here? I do recollect it being on one of the early London to Brighton runs when we stopped at Plans and the Top Gear test track for lunch.

I've had that car as my profile pic since I joined .org & I've tried to get in touch with the guy who appeared to own it with no reply. I was actually asking permission to use the pic but no reply, thought sod it! Just love the UJ, I think it's the best looking flag there is, not counting patriotism. We're gonna be buffered if that there Scotland breaks away, it'll look fresh though if they keep the design without the blue?
