Not very many photos during the disassembly just some pictures to remind me where stuff goes.

 

Since i got her in March 2013 it was a fairly quiet year. This is what I have done so far;

 

Gaz Golds

Refresh Front Callipers painted gloss black with AP logo polished

Braided lines

Fez Heater

New stereo

New Speakers

Painted seat subframes

Fit Fan Switch

New Arch Liners (old one was eaten alive)

Full Milltek Exhaust

TD1.2s Black and AD08's

 

Job List (70,000 Miles)

 

Suspension refresh

Handbrake cable

ARB Bushes

Engine mount inserts

Blast and paint wishbones, rear subframe struts and coolant tank mount and right hand engine mount

4 New Hubs

 

Valve Stem Seals

New VXR Turbo

New Heat Shields

Cam Belt kit and water pump

Aux Belt

New gearbox oil

New Slave cylinder

Lightweight flywheel

Courtenay sport clutch

Pro alloy intake pipe

Courtenay sport plenum and pipe

 

Remove snapped exhaust mount bolt

Replace rivnuts in subframe

TAT Short Round Diffuser

First corner going back together using Duralac between shims.

 

For anyone looking for new ABS brackets the front ones are the same part as the rears, don't listen to the TIS/Vauxhall parts system as that advises to use a normal shim.

From my local dealer. About 4-5 each special order from Germany

Looks really good. It will all be worth the hassle....I really wish I had the time and space to do mine.

 

Space shouldn't be an issue. I did mine on a driveway that is barely wide enough to open the door. I also managed to put it up on stands so that there was around 15cm of space on the rear o/s corner. Time however is not so easy to find :(

Had to empty the garage out to make room for it. It's nice being able to tinker without getting cold wet and struggling in the dark.

Started assembling the front tonight. Go to putting the new track rod end on and there's no new lock but so need to find 2 in the morning. Should have it back on its wheels this weekend :)
