Been looking at new seals as leaky roof....anyone have these deroure seal fitted/fitting guide as turbo seals are 200 odd quid.(on a budget at the moment) Sorry for crashing your thread.
Fitting guide:
Peel off old seal
Spend 3 hours with Autoglym intensive bug and tar removing getting off the residue. I found a wooden door wedge handy to scrape without damaging paint.
Line up new seal to test fit and work out where it goes (start from the corners)
Remove tape from seal and stick down.
If it's not 100% clean its a complete waste of time.

Wow, what a response! Looks like we had the right plans for our VX anyway!
Both items pending. Obviously, I'm using the post / message times to contact those who got in touch first. If they refuse I'll do the same to get the 2nd in line.
Some people on here really need to get some sleep though - I have a 4 week old, what's your excuses

Both exhaust and seal are sold pending payment.
Shame Claws, would have been easier getting it to you from Dundee than posting it. Still, it was on SE for a week with no interest

I did indeed, to ensure that the first people were contacted re: the items - some VX owners obviously just don't sleep!!
