Dear all,

My garage is getting filled up with VX parts. Please see below:

Later Sonar steering rack - £50

Removed in October 2013 from my car. This will need a refurb but will serve someone as a spare - so they dont have downtime waiting for theirs to be refurbed. I bought one off another forum member for exactly the same reason and gave him £80 for his. I am only asking £50 for mine as I need the space.

MMG prepared for stage 1+ OEM air box - £25

This has had trumpets removed and drilled for optimum air flow. Also sounds considerably different, with more induction noise. I paid about £50 to have this done but now have an Apexi instead. It also has a nearly brand new OEM air filter element in it FOC to you.

K&N panel air filter element for Turbo - £25

- Virtually brand new and in excellent condition - cost me £80. Will sell for £25

Main induction pipe - £10

This is the one to the air filter. This one does not collapse and in good condition. Only changed because I wanted a bit of bling bling, so bought a pro- alloy one instead.

4 Bosh Super 4 Spark plugs for VXT - £5

- Used for 1k before going to stage 1 +

Full VXT OEM exhaust including the CAT and pre-CAT replacement pipe for stage 1+- £175

This will be available after 6th March as I am removing mine for a Milltek as I am going to stage 2. It can also be left at MMG in Derbyshire if this helps anybody? It has done 42K and only being changed for stage 2. I think I paid £80-£100 for the pre-CAT replacement pipe alone so its a very fair price?

Halfords Advanced outdoor cover - £20

This is one year old. I now have a garage :) - It cost me £60 or so I think? Good condition apart from the clips are broken on one side. I used to but bungee cords around instead and this cover has done me a good service whilst waiting for a garage. It fits the VX suprisingly well.

All prices are + postage. I can send you pictures if you PM me with your e-mail address or contact me at jon.sanderson@siemens.com. Obviously prefer to have items collected if possible. I am located in Newark, Notts NG24. Willing to help where I can as this forum has been very good to me.

Thanks,

Jon

Just noticed:

"This is one year old. I now have a garage :) - It cost me £60 or so I think?"

- before the jokers start - it was not the garage that cost me £60 -the cover was £60! :)

What's the difference with this rack compared to a Titan rack?

I forgot to add:

Standard OEM Bilstein VX220 T shocks and springs - £60

In good condition and had only covered 35K approx when removed. One rear shock was leaking so I took the opportunity to swap our with Exige units instead.

The Sonar rack is exactly the same as the Titan just another supplier Amy. I believe all later VX's have the Sonar one

Hi Gingerjon,

Everything now sold apart from the exhaust and OEM induction pipe. Surely the exhaust is worth the price for scrap value including the CAT? Someone make me an offer? Or can anyone suggest how  can sell this discreetly?

I have just committed to a Milltek and my missus does not know I have spent the money on an exhaust. :ninja:  Bringing it back from the garage will be a bit obvious! Someone help me out please....
