I'm sick of looking now but how much coolant does the N/A hold. I can remember last time I changed my rad I only managed to get roughly 6 litres out of the system and remember Steve saying he only got 6 litres. When I was at halfords the other day I had a look inside there hand book and it also says 6 litres for the n/a but everyone else seems to think its 12 litres. Can anyone confirm what what's the total amount?

I've never got anywhere near 12 litres in  (front rad pipes changed twice, rad changed once, coolant drained every 3 years as part of a service).

I normally put three litres of anti-freeze and the rest water, but normally the system is never entirely empty.

It's very unlikely you'll drain all the coolant. The block will retain a few litres as will the pipes running down the chassis.

The coolant flushes must be a no no for are cars then if you can never get everything out. I wouldn't use them again myself but anyone in the future shouldnt use them.
