Front Mintex M1155 / Rear Mintex M1144

2° Configuration

Front/Rear Brembo HP2000

3°Configuration

what do you think?

the brake pad will overlap the outside edge of the 308mm discs (plus they weigh a sh*t load.... nearly double that of the 288's) so you wont get the full use of the pad. Also imho it made next to sod all difference in the braking anyway.

4th config.

standard 288mm discs front and rear, Performance Friction Braking 97 spec (or 01) pads. Done. Face on windscreen :)

Getting new discs and pads fitted tomorrow

What breaking in what do you guys do? Im running Mintex 1144

In the past with brembo I have done the recommended

50mph-5mph hard break, then

60mph-5mph hard break, then

70mph-5mph hard break

all in one go to keep the heat high

to burn the layer off the discs and help settle the pads

You need to be more gentil with new discs.

ligh braking first to warm them up evenly then do the hard stuff.
