3 pairs remaining at £135, then they'll go up to £150.

Very pleased at the rate of funding so far, hopefully if this keeps up i'll be able to provide the units in a shorter time. Thanks everyone

Just got in there at £135. Good work everyone. I was so lucky not to damage a headlight in my crash last year and it brought it home how screwed I would have been.

Hi Tom one question concerning the e mark. does this sticker relate to the original lamps or to the new ones you are developing?

Both, I will be able to provide stickers for the original lamps and sticks with the newly developed parts.

fez,are these being done in conjunction with GF ORCE8 as his mighty effort seems to have died.....?

i would've thought the german forum and others would be all over this....

will these have the anti scratch and stone chip protection?

but its got to be said a massive well done to fez and for an outstanding show of faith from all the backers thus far, give yourselves a good old pat on the back guys..and those not already on this, what are you waiting for??

No they're not being done in combination, the previous attempt was using vacuum forming which has issues as the material gets thicker. Effectively it means a lot of parts will get thrown away and material costs are higher, in contrast i'm using injection moulding which will cost more to set up, but material costs are low and the parts are consistently good quality.

Polycarbonate is already scratch and stone chip resistant to a point (it's used in bullet proof glass after all), but there won't be anything added on top of this.

Fez, can you make a list of people who would like it added to the lights as that would be my preference to get a complete unit.
