Hi all, picking up a silver VX220 today to replace my current E46 330d. Gone for the 2.2 NA with plans to supercharge in the near future (most likely after my wedding in August :-/)

I will get photos up in the forseeable, based on how she looks I would suspect it's probably a previous forum car.

53 plate with 29900 ish miles onboard.

Not new to forums and looking forward to getting to know the members on here. Coming from a varied car history, started life with Vauxhalls 10 years ago with a Corsa B that got Redtopped. Moved through various motors since then, Audi A3 TSport, a highly self modified 450 bhp Audi S3, an E36 M3, 2 E46 M3s, so looking forward now to sonmething little and fun...

I'm sure I'll be gleaning advice over the supercharger options in the future...

Having had a browse of the forum, turns out that my VX is ex forum member Stormtrooper's build number 5015 - seen here for sale many moons ago: http://www.vx220.org...a-vx220-silver/

Annoyingly, looks like the OS Engine Mount has failed, got the grinding in 1st and 2nd gears and a nice loud clunk from behind me. As I bought it from a performance car dealer, I shall be getting in touch with them to see if they will do them under the statutory warranty - having only had it for 2 days it kinda seems fair.

Failing that I shall get the OEM mounts from a friend at the local Vauxhall dealership and go from there - looks easy enough to be fair and come from a good mechanical background. Great guide on here for the NS mount.

Once I get chance, I'll get some photos of it - it is still as mint as it was on the advert however - and what fun.

Interested to see it's mapped, as I thought it went particularly well for a NA...

I know Ben and Steve in the parts dept at Stroud Baylis really well, great pair the both of them.Stems back from the good old Redtop/Corsa B days.

I remember when Cam Motors was a Vaux dealership, my old man bought a Belmont from there YEARS ago! Mitsubishi garage now, my missus still gets her Colt serviced there!

Some good roads around this part of the world, sadly they seem to be strewn with an immense amount of pot holes these days...

Absolutely, I'm often up that way as I have customers all over Gloucestershire.

Incidentally Rizo, are you ever down around Stonehouse? More specifically around the Bond's Mill trading estate area?

They're used to be a red turbo in the Stonehouse area, don't think I met the guy & he hasn't posted on here in awhile

I live in Quedgeley and my Silver NA is my only car so you may see me driving around! I also travel through Stonehouse and Stroud quite often for Cricket.
