Hello all

Im in the market for a vx220 turbo.

I was lucky enough to own a coral blue 2004 stage 1 example in 2006. I may have fallen of the road slighlty in 2007 resulting in it being written off.

Im looking for another turbo, coral blue would be nice.

Will look at standard and tastefully modded cars stage 4 etc is all good (provided all reciepts are present).

Low miles very clean cars ideal.

CASH WAITING

If you are looking for a hassle free sale for your cherised vehicle then im your man.

rod

ps im in sunny southend on sea

There is a lovely black one on pistonheads. 300 bhp for only £16k, don't know who the previous owner was.

After a long chat with turboluca I'm looking for a stage four to start with I think. The search continues. May give them a call about the black one, although not keen on the colour. 16k seems about two grand to much?

Stage 4 is a totally different animal to stage 2! IMO it's priced right presuming it's as good as it sounds

I would love to give a stage 4 a run. That black one does look good. Does the dealer offer any kind of warranty maybe that would justify the price.

Just don't want to end up spending loads getting to stage four at a later stage. I've had a stage one before in 2006. At that time I heard the stage four was a bit aggressive in its tune, however it seems the power delivery has been made a little more progressive in the mapping? I am thinking a lsd would be a good idea?

LSD is a good thing as I had it on my last stage 4 . I think your best off with a stage 4, as I know if you have stage 2 you'll only end up £££ to go to stage4 . If you don't mind forking out extra cash then buy standard an do it in stages , but it's very very expensive by the time you get to STGE 4! Buying it all done will just save you ££££. But be extremely careful as it's a beast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stage 4

There are three stage 4 turbos on pistonheads at the minute, rare to have a such a choice if that's what you're after!

I can appreciate the excitement of stage 4 and it must be one hell of a drive but could you really use it well? My stage 2 is sometimes too fast for the roads we use and I can't put the power down for any longer than a few seconds as your approaching warp speed so have to lift off!!!

True true. But had a quick one before, kind of want a stupid quick one just so I can experience it. Whilst I'm young ish (36) enough to push it a touch. On the track of course!

Most owners will have a shed load of recipes for a vx... The stage 4 package would depend if fitted by prev owners. Go with fitting of tms or pa chargecoolers

All sold except the black one. That particular car has a history, needs a couple of grand spending on it. Considering it's 16k already!
