Hello everyone, long time no see   Hope everyone is well.

 

As you may remember I sold my vx220 last July as I needed something more practical now. A week after selling I bought this, new.

 

This is it when when I collected it, the only options are the 17" wheels and black mirrors.

 

 

I then added the stripe kit it matte black.

 

 

Finally I can now use my new number plate   Also upgraded the front bulbs, they are very white now.

 

 

Decided to add the scorpion on the bonnet recently.

 

 

Then added wind deflectors.

 

 

And a couple more

If you need a set of brakes, I have a new set in the garage from when our old one was Essessed. Great little car, but drink the fuel or what !!

Very nice, I wanted a red 1 but ended up with a black 1.

Not on my list of cars to own, but my VX and I had a play with one around Church Stretton a couple of years ago, was much fun, certainly isn't a slow car, better than a standard 500

Ours is red with no vinyl at all on it, makes it blend in a little

I way prefer the ride and even the handling of a 'normal' 500 as the 17's justkill it

Ade, black and red is a nice combo, popular on the forum. Yours looks lowered?

 

I thought it would feel slow after the vx, but it certainly doesn't, Ive embarrassed a few cars already (not that I go around racing). I need to get it re mapped for some extra boost though    

 

The ride doesn't feel bad to me on the 17s after coming from a vx. It actually feels very good...

Yes, I tried lowering springs 1st but the back still sat high so now got coilovers, front goes stupidly low but the back still sits up a bit high. In this pic I had cement bags in the boot.

lol. Angel tuning have a good reputation on our forum. In regards to boxes, TMC motorsport seem highly regarded.

 

The only other option is get the factory 595 Collaboration kit which consists of a factory re-map to 160 bhp, drilled disks, upgraded pads, Koni suspension, BMC air filter, and some badges. £1600 though.

which forum do you use? I sometimes go on arbathisti and its just full of fannies.

 

The TMC box is the one I'm on about not using
