Roll up, Roll up...

I have put together 10 fully tested MK2 versions of the famed Slinderella Motorsport Post CAT Lambda cheater. There are a further 9 on the bench but they are untested as of now and I will post when they are ready.

Due to work stuff, I will only be able to post from Monday 14th April, but giving you all the heads up if you wish to get one.

Quick info:

MK2 cheater with resistor = £27.50 (inc postage)

MK2 cheater without resistor = £25.00 (inc postage)

I take paypal , cash and maybe Raspberry Pi's

Will work with both NA (inc SC) and Turbo

For those of you with a MK1 cheater running etc, this is functionally NO different, just had a slight redesign due to obsolete parts and reducing the size of the board. There is no reason to upgrade/change.

Long winded info:

If you dont know what the cheater is for then this is for you:

The emisisons regulations for our cars state that there must be a test to see if the Catalyctic convertor is a) present and b.) functioning... and if its not doing either of those then throw on the EML. The etst is carried out with a second lambda sensor after the CAT to detect that there is slightly different exhaust gas to that of the first sensor.

Now the actual causes for the EML to come on can be faults with the second sensor (common) or in reality the removal of the CAT for POWWAAAHHHH.

The cheater will enable you to get rid of the fairly unreliable sensor, and should you be of the sort, to remove the CAT.

The first 10 can come with the resistor to act as the heater, they will need to be mounted somewhere with airflow, and a good metal surface to bolt/rivet to as even something as lowly as 9Watts will heat up a 25Watt resistor on an extra heatsink, in no time!!! You can alternatively just use the existing lambda sensor heater, assuming its not that bit that has failed. After the 10 Resistors have gone, I will NOT be supplying them as they are easily available from the likes of CPC (who have no delivery charges).

DO NOT buy power resistors from EBAY!!!!

I think thats everything.

With it being a Motorsport part, i had better get one! Also, I have an EML on for a duff post cat sensor. I think it is a problem with the heater element so I guess I need one with a resistor.

Wanna fit it for me?  :) like the good old days  :D

Fo shnizzle. Got the old girl out of 5 months hibernation yesterday and using it daily this week  :tt:

Will have to arrange a time and place over the next few months. The EML wont be affecting the fueling etc will it?

Nope, no affect on fuelling at all.

I'm not sure, but I think an EML/MIL lit is atleast an advisory, if not a fial for the MOT these days.

Stu, can I take a MK2 with resistor and if I sent you the plug, can you make it plug and play as my MK1 effort doesn't work?
