Erm, I have a rubber surround on my iPad which means I can just wedge it between the dash and screen  No need for any fancy holders thumbsup

I have a raptor engineering iPad mount in my defender, screwed to the dash. I'm planning on screwing it to the alu behind the dash plate in the vx on an upcoming euro trip so it is reversable/ can hide the holes behind the plate once again. But also might consider a tallon mount permanently installed to allow me to fit and remove with ease if I can get the mount to screw to the raptor mount. It's basically folded Ali but works very well (tested with jail broken ipad2 bluetoothed to tomtom gps receiver using offline maps downloaded to motionx app)

I've got a seasucker mini naked flex mount (they do a non-mini version for >7" tablets) and it's superb, can pretty much mount it anywhere. http://www.seasucker...ked-flex-mount/ RNot sure if they are available in the UK yet though? Company I work for distributes the bikeracks and so I got it on the blag :D Maybe I should sort a group buy!

Anyone have pictures fitted to there vx ? In don't really want to drill anything to make a mount work so looking at ones that somehow attach to the dash.

I wouldn't trust that bracket you linked to to hold a mobile phone mount, let alone a stupid tablet, bearing in mind in just tucks in alongside the stereo. You're going to have to engineer your own bracket that either fits behind the dash trim or uses some of the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the dash (on the lip to the footwell), if you plan to actually have the thing mounted when you're driving

That or some godawful suction mount obscuring the other half of the windscreen that the rear view mirror doesn't already block.

The vacuum pump one I linked to I have attached onto the underside of the dash and it parks the phone/tablet just in front of the heater controls.. Nothing on the windscreen
