Sitting at the traffic lights on the A31 in Farnham today at around 12:30. I hear a screech of tyres and then a crash. I look around to see a silver VX tubby adjacent to a rather bent looking pedestrian crossing pole. The lights changed just as the lady driver got out to inspect the damage. It was quite wet and pretty greasy out there, but VERY lucky that nobody was waiting at the crossing! Hope the damage wasn't too bad.

It had tubby wheels... And that would arguably explain the sudden loss of traction, I was a fair distance away, but she didn't look too shabby....if that helps to narrow it down.

Fair comment, as a trained first aided I would of rushed over and given the kiss of life then a thorough examination always good to ensure good health after a crash

I might have accidentally fallen in whilst she was bending over to inspect what was once the pristine front of her car. That would have been awkward as I has my parents in the car (I wasn't driving the VX) and they might have told the wife who is out of the country at the moment. All the above reason contributed to me not stopping (along with the fact that I was pointing the wrong way, at a set of traffic lights, and neither she or the car looked incapacitated). If she is on here, she is most welcome to post up some pictures of her front end so we can offer advice and guidance on any necessary remedial repair (although in reality, I suspect she will be popping round to those nice chaps at Backontrack for some remedial action)

Okay so I could have stopped off and offered her a glass of Hennessy and a puff on a large Havana, but it just wasn't the right time or place (my Havana might have got soggy).

Was this at the lights by the station where you turn left? I took it super slowly in my golf yesterday and nearly under steered into the railings. Think there must have been a diesel/oil spill.
