I have the B&G Quick Release kit, Adjustable Spacer, Airbag Resistor and Corsa B boss...

But I am struggling to find a Steering Wheel that I like...

What does everyone else have?

And what are you opinions of finding a wheel with horn buttons aposed to having it mounted on the steering column (pro's/con's)

Hi mate, only slightly off topic but have you got a link to the bits to make the B&G QR fit the Vx - assume it's the corsa B boss? FYI there's a pic of the sparco rim I'm using in my project thread at start (on my phone or id link/post pic)

For me the ideal solution is the standard wheel reupholstered in an alcantara material.

I have a omp superquadro. Good for me as it allows plenty of room to get my legs under the wheel. Ideally I'd like a smidgen smaller

I have the op superquadro one. Also have the EP quick release kit as it's a straight bolt on to the old wheel hub.

320mm which I believe is the size of the standard wheel. Also have a 20mm spacer on the boss

I got them from B&G as there was an offer on (although I believe I did get the last pieces at the price)

Demon Tweaks and eBay are as cheap a place as any...

Ill try and get the links now

If you keep the airbag and use the adaptor boss the steering wheel moves alot closer towards your body. By going air bag delete you use a flat steering wheel also the boss, this set up the keeps more or less the same distance as oem.

Funnily enough I'd seen that one but wasn't sure about delivery time.

Thanks though, will get that ordered today thumbsup chinky chinky

So did you find the B&G adaptor/spacer was needed on this? Did it bring the wheel closer to you in the cabin, or back to where the OEM rim sat with the spacer/adaptor fitted to the QR?

I got the adjustable spacer (just as a nice to have, as i do believe you need atleast a 20mm spacer anyway)...I havent had time to fit it properly yet but I can safely say mine will bring the wheel to the OEM position with the adjustablility to move closer

Bringing this one back from the dead briefly. I ordered the hub/boss as recomended by FiveOclock and D3YMO but the one I had sent wasn't the collapsible type as expected, and it just doesn't fit. So the consensus is just to bite the bullet and order one that will, even if I have to pay more for it.

So I reckon this one, is the one i need. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Cheers,

G
